Hello from Suffolk UK

Hello! I apologise that I do not speak German but I hope that Google Translate will help you read my post.
We live in Suffolk UK. I have built a G scale railway in our garden. It is a simple layout with a track from the train shed running to an oval the shape of an amoeba. The garden is on a steep slope so much of the track bed is on posts and a long section runs through cuttings and tunnels. I am able to run a shuttle train from the shed to a siding beside the oval.
I bought all of our stock second hand from a local man who sold his whole layout. So it is old and in need of repairs and spares now.
I have a son who is 28 and who has Severe Learning Difficulties. He is obsessed with trains and loves to sit on his bench and watch the trains run round.
Thank you for reading this - perhaps we will meet again on a different topic.
Peter
